PowerPoint® slides are often afflicted with a multiple personality disorder. Specifically, they are trying to be three things at once:

  1. A visual aid to help cause learning and retention
  2. A takeaway reference for students
  3. A teleprompter for the instructor (many instructors “teach” from their slides)

The problem is that because PowerPoint is being asked to so many things at the same time, it ends up doing none of them very well. In other words, a good reference is rarely a good visual aid, a teleprompter seldom serves as a good reference, etc.
We have worked with multiple organizations to improve their slides. Our objective is to transform text-based, information-intensive, sleep-inducing slides into stimulating, graphically-oriented and potentially interactive presentations. We can work with your trainers, managers and/or subject matter experts to make this happen for your curriculum.
